Hardening Furnaces and Box Furnaces

Box furnaces are available in a wide variety of sizes and temperature ranges. Shandard temperature ranges are 1010°C, 1260°C and 1538°C (1850°F, 2300°F and 2800°F). Special designs are available for operations to 1700°C (3092 °F). Options include pneumatically operated vertical lift doors, welded and gas tight shell with ports for use with atmosphere, heated doors, viewports and quench tanks. Dual Chamber Tool Room Furnace

This dual chamber tool room furnace with temperature capability of 1260°C (2300°F) in the upper chamber and 677°C (1250°F) in the lower chamber. Auto-tune controls and optional roll-out quench tank.

Bench Top Box Furnaces

This bench top box furnace has a double pivoting hinged door that keeps the hot door face away from the operator.

This bench top box furnace with control system is designed for laboratory and industrial use. Temperature ranges to 1204°C (2200°F).

This laboratory type box furnace is designed for temperatures to 1232°C (2250°F). It has a counter-balanced door, control system and timer.

High Temperature Box Furnace

This box furnace uses silicon carbide heating elements for operating temperatures up to 1538°C (2800°F). The air operated door and transformer tap switches allow for ease of operation.

Hardening Furnace

This hardening furnace plus a separate drawing furnace in one unit. Shown with control systems for each furnace chamber. Quench tank storage below furnaces. Temperatures to 1232°C (2250°F) and 649°C (1200°F).

Heat Treating Furnace

This Controlled atmosphere heat treating furnace has 760°C - 1370°C (1400°F - 2500°F) capability. It boasts an automatic flame curtain and can handle endothermic, exothermic and enriched atmospheres as well as nitrogen, argon or air.

Muffle Type Box Furnace

This box furnace has a muffle designed for sealed atmosphere operation at temperatures to 1100°C (2012°F). It is mounted on a cart to allow easy conversion to a standard box furnace.

Other Box Furnaces

This box furnace has a manually operated vertical lift door and attached programmable temperature control console.

This front loading box furnace has a pneumatically operated vertical lift door.
